Low Voltage Switchgear distribution boards are our main product at Michael Smith Switchgear, and have been our speciality product since being established in 1985.  The majority of switchboards are built in multi sections in our well equipped work shops, delivered to site and re-linked together by our highly trained team of engineers.

Any imaginable design of switchboard can be achieved with our metal work system, allowing the switchboard to be designed around any specific switch room needs.  Manufacturing our own metal work enables us to produce the switchboards in tight time scales to meet any specific project schedules.

Switchboards can be manufactured with door interlocked switches, switches behind lockable or glazed doors, metering fitted to every outgoing way and to any customer specific requirements.  Switchboards can be manufactured in a variety of sizes, shapes and colours.
